How It Benefits Travelers

For years, most international flights have routed through El Salvador’s main airport near San Salvador (SAL – El Salvador International Airport Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez). While that’s been great for exploring the central and western parts of our country, like the surf town of El Tunco or the colorful area of the Ruta de las Flores, getting to the eastern part of El Salvador has taken extra time.

The Airport of the Pacific will change that. With a closer gateway to volcanoes, mangrove forests, and quieter beaches, you’ll spend less time traveling and more time soaking in the warmth of our culture and natural beauty.
